Why I love teaching...
I believe every child is capable, curious, and full of potential. My goal is to create inclusive, nurturing spaces where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to learn.
I’m passionate about equity and supporting all learners, through a strengths-based approach that celebrates individuality. Collaboration with families and communities is central to my practice, ensuring every child has the support they need to thrive.
At the heart of my teaching is a commitment to safety, respect, and belonging because children learn best when they feel seen, heard, and confident in who they are.

Why I love teaching...
Being an educator to young children allows me to be creative, to wonder and consider the world from a child’s perspective. It provides opportunities for me to continually learn and grow, to be dynamic and have fun as I build meaningful connections to support young learners. That's why I love teaching.

Virginia
Why I love teaching...
I love teaching because I am able to encourage the children to imagine and wonder as they learn through play.

James
Why I love teaching...
I enjoy teaching because no other profession gives the satisfaction, challenges, joys, triumphs, creativity and inspiration like teaching does. No two days are ever the same, and positives always outweigh the negatives. As a teacher, you are in a unique position to truly help people every day to become the best they can be. I enjoy being inspired, as well as inspiring others. The best feeling is leaving work every day, knowing that, no matter how small, I’ve made a difference to someone in some way.

Emma
Why I love teaching...
I enjoy teaching as every day is an adventure. Children have amazing ideas and perspectives, are energetic and are willing to take risks when it comes to learning. I then have the opportunity to share in the excitement, inspire creativity and support children to learn their own way.

Lyndall
Why I love teaching...
I enjoy being an educator as it provides me with the opportunity to interact, engage with and support our next generations. I love that I am able to encourage, help, and teach whilst having fun and learning. Everyday is different as an educator, who wouldn’t love that!

Tracey
Why I love teaching...
I love seeing things through a child’s eyes and being that friend that the children can come to in times of need. I also enjoy spending my days in our beautiful learning environment that is designed with children in mind where they can move their bodies, take some risks and play.

Lisa
Why I love teaching...
I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, secure and connected to others. It is my goal as an Early Childhood Educator to ensure that every child feels a sense of belonging, to encourage and support them as they learn through play and exploration, and to create a positive environment where every child is celebrated as the unique person they are.

Karina
Why I love teaching...
I love teaching because early childhood is a time of rapid growth, curiosity, and discovery. Children in this stage are eager to explore the world around them, and their excitement for learning is contagious. I love witnessing when they grasp new concepts, whether it’s mastering a new skill, understanding a story, or recognising patterns. Their imagination is boundless, and they learn through play in ways that are both creative and joyful.

Yasmin
Why I love teaching...
I enjoy teaching because I love watching children learn and develop. Children are of paramount importance, and my pedagogical practices are based on the premise that every child is unique individual and has the right to feel happy, experience enjoyment and acceptance. I believe in interest based play based learning and believe that every child should feel confident to discover, investigate, experiment and problem solve. I like to provide children with an environment which helps develop a sense of belonging, encourages them become involved and confident learners.

Ella

Why I love teaching...
My role as an educator is to ensure that all children feel loved and supported, I will demonstrate this by active listening and supporting their interests and needs to the best of my ability. I believe setting up experiences and providing opportunities for each child to explore, and create with their imagination extends on their strengths, interest and skills. I love seeing children learn and discover new things. I believe every child is unique and special in their own way. I believe children learn and grow when they have a strong sense of belonging and are surrounded by positive energy in a positive environment.
