On the 15th of May 2005, Cooranbong Valley Community Preschool was officially opened by Jeff Hunter MP, local member for Lake Macquarie. This year marks an incredible milestone — 21 years of operation within our beautiful community.
This is a very special moment in the history of our service as we celebrate the many memories, friendships, connections, and learning journeys shared over the years. From our early days on the grounds of Avondale College to the vibrant preschool community we are today, we are so proud of the generations of children and families who have been part of our story.
Over the past 21 years, our preschool has been filled with laughter, learning, creativity, and countless special moments. We are incredibly grateful to all of the educators, families, and children — past and present — who have helped shape Cooranbong Valley Community Preschool into the warm and welcoming place it is today.
We would love to hear from our past and present families and educators.
What is your favourite memory from the last 21 years?
Do you have a special memory from when the preschool was located on the grounds of Avondale College?
We invite you to share your memories, photos, and stories with us in the comments. We would love to celebrate this milestone together as a community.
